We flew in from Seattle, and Katelyn made us feel comfortable and confident about the process instantly despite not being able to meet beforehand when we decided on vendors. The whole experience honestly felt as easy as catching up with an old friend. Capturing the love between a couple means having them share their inside jokes or little quirks that make each other laugh. Doing those things in front of a stranger can feel weird and make photos look awkward (like you see with a lot of photographers), but this is not the case with Katelyn. She encourages the silliness and simple joys between couples, and seeks to capture it. That’s what makes her photography so remarkable. Our engagement photos were outstanding and we were so grateful she recommended those. It gave us the chance to get used to her style ahead of time and have great photos of just the two of us that weren’t full of the emotion and stress of the wedding day. Our wedding photos were great and Katelyn worked with us to find a schedule that accommodated our photo needs as well plans for the day (staying longer at this or that location). She was great to work with and you can tell that she truly invests herself in each shoot and couple she works with. She was great at guiding when we wanted specific guidance and letting us do our own thing when we were feeling that. She made photos feel like a breeze for everyone involved - and even got good photos of the family members that can never keep their eyes open - you all know how hard that is if you have those family members.

Katelyn, you made our wedding an amazing experience! You are the perfect balance between having fun with your clients and still making sure we stay on task. The most positive part is seeing all the “candid” photos. After the ceremony, everything continues to fly by and the reception happened so quickly. I am so glad you were there to capture all the moments that I wasn’t able to take in during the busy day. I think it’s important to have a photographer who who can have fun with us but still is able to capture all of our special moment. We had an amazing time with you!!!
